Supposedly the only “street legal” H2R in the country. This thing was badass.
Haven’t posted to Oppo in a while. More pics to come from yesterday’s Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride, but for now just the H2R.

Like I said, “street legal” haha . The way he explained it was that he had an H2 and was planning to convert to an H2R, until he realized they wouldn’t sell R parts to a non- R owner. So he bought an H2R. I’m guessing he took the plates off of the H2 and put it on the R but I don’t know that for sure. And yea I thought the strips were funny too.

Before you jump up to say “nay,” take a look here: https://www.bike-urious.com/somehow-street-legal-2015-kawasaki-ninja-h2r/
“This H2R (VIN: JKAZXCPC9FA000046) has 1,500 miles and while the seller says it’s one of a kind there is another street legal H2R in Arizona . Still, one of out two ain’t bad.”

thats the thing, H2R didnt HAVE a vin....a serial number but thats it.

Well, it looks like at least two people have managed to convince someone to issue a VIN to the chassis they have, even if it started with just a serial number.

In FL pretty much you pay for the paperwork and get the registration, right?

Yea, if it wasn’t for the internet I’d have no idea what an annual inspection was

It’s simple really:
1) Buy H2R
2) Buy “frame” and title from
H2 that some squid destroyed & parted out, but didn’t get total
ed by insurance
3) Put VIN plate from H2 frame onto H2R
*also illegal as shit, but you’ll have that

Here in the PNW, the land that rust forgot, we don’t have those either - but they can be sticklers about emissions.
